The Amanah deputy president, Hatta Ramli, has expressed high hopes for the party's performance in five out of seven contested seats during the upcoming PRN Melaka election. Speaking to the media after the Amanah Selangor 2026 Convention, Hatta stated that the likelihood of winning appears more certain for four of these five seats.

While he did not name the specific constituencies, Hatta's confidence is based on the party's record performance in those areas, the candidates' experience, and the outcomes of the last general election, indicating that the party's local support contributes to PH's parliamentary victories.

In the current PRN, Amanah aims to retain Bukit Katil, while challenging Kuala Linggi, Taboh Naning, Durian Tunggal, Telok Mas, Merlimau, and Sungai Rambai. When asked about Deputy President Adly Zahari potentially being nominated as the deputy prime minister, Hatta emphasized that the priority at the moment is to secure a victory for Pakatan Harapan. The main focus now is to win the contested seats first; once that is accomplished, the issue of the deputy prime minister will be easier to handle, he said.
