Georgia Tech @ Pitt Where To Watch/Game Thread
Heinz Field welcomes the Jackets
Georgia Tech takes on Pittsburgh in a Halloween-themed football game, as the outcome promises to be a terrifying sight. The Jackets are currently 2-5 on the season, while the Panthers are 5-3 but are without their starting quarterback, Mason Heintschel. Pitt has struggled since starting 5-0, suffering losses to North Carolina, Boston College, and Miami. Freshman Holden Gernier has stepped up in Heintschel's absence, throwing for 268 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' most recent loss, falling short against Miami.
Despite the Panthers' recent three-game losing streak, they remain 7.5-point favorites at home against the struggling Jackets. The latter are wearing their black pants for the third consecutive game this season, adding to the series of peculiar occurrences. As the season unfolds, it seems Tech continues to present bewildering moments.
