2027: ‘God will do it again’, Yari resorts to prayers for Tinubu

In Mecca, Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz Yari, the former Zamfara State Governor and DG of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC), voiced unwavering confidence in his party's perspective and divine guidance. Yari made these remarks during his visit to Saudi Arabia, alongside President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other notable Nigerians for the Umrah pilgrimage.

Following the President's media interview in Saudi Arabia, in which he expressed his reliance on God for a second term, Yari echoed the President's sentiments. He reiterated Tinubu's belief that Allah's decree in His court must prevail and that no other deity exists. Tinubu stated that only Allah can define a person's future. Building upon the President's comments, Yari highlighted that President Tinubu's faith, performance record, and the campaign council's activities would be crucial in winning the upcoming elections.

Yari emphasized that true leadership involves praying for the nation, its citizens, and acknowledging God's role in selecting leaders, much like He did in 2023. He further added that the campaign team would work tirelessly to highlight the government's accomplishments. Yari believed that with Allah's grace, the electorate would recognize the party's efforts and re-elect Tinubu for another term.
