The Halloween episode of "The View" featured a skit inspired by the phrase "Obsession," with Alyssa Farah Griffin as the central character. The skit kicked off the show, with hosts Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin receiving a "One Wish Willow" from Gretta Monahan. Haines expressed excitement about her wish, which was met with Hostin's disinterest.
Haines then wished that Hostin wanted her and loved her so much that she always knew where she was coming from. Immediately after, Hostin appeared more eager to spend time with Haines, leading to a playful confrontation.
When Haines asked Hostin to lunch, Hostin tackled her, seemingly resulting in Hostin's "murder" offscreen. Haines quickly turned to Ana Navarro for help, but Navarro opted out due to Hostin's intense obsession. The skit concluded with a second "One Wish Willow" from Joy Behar, which ended the bit and allowed "The View" to resume as usual. The hosts didn't go all out on costumes, with the stage decorated for Halloween, but the "Obsession" skit was the main focus of the episode.
