Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has stated that he does not require any assurances from the club regarding his future, despite recent scrutiny of his position following the team's poor performances. This assertion was made during a press conference before Manchester United's upcoming Premier League match against Chelsea.
Carrick's remarks come after the club's poor start to the season, with a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth extending their worst-ever start to a Premier League campaign. The club's chief executive, Omar Berrada, and director of football, Jason Wilcox, reportedly met to discuss the future of Carrick, but the manager maintained that he is focused on his responsibilities and does not need any additional confirmation of his job security.
