Skip the $350 cans: Our favorite budget headphones are just under $70 at Amazon

Mashable's favorite budget headphones, the JLab JBuds Lux ANC, are currently on sale for $69.99 at Amazon. This represents a 30% discount off their original price of $99.99. These headphones have received high praise from the Mashable team, earning the title of "best value" in their guide to the best pairs under $100. Additionally, they were named the best budget headphones in the 2026 roundup of the best headphones.

These headphones are an excellent choice for those seeking a budget-friendly option that does not sacrifice quality. Upon testing, the JLab JBuds Lux ANC proved to be a cost-effective solution for those who prioritize value. After adjusting the equalizer settings in the accompanying app, the sound quality became surprisingly clean and well-defined, with a balanced frequency response rather than the often muddy sound associated with budget headphones.

One notable feature of these headphones is their active noise cancellation (ANC) capability. While the ANC does not provide the complete silence of more expensive models, it effectively reduces unwanted ambient noise from sources such as office conversations, air conditioning, and subway rumble. Furthermore, users have the ability to customize the ANC intensity through the app, a feature often lacking in more premium models.

Another advantage of the JLab JBuds Lux ANC is their impressive battery life. With up to 70 hours of total playback time, users can enjoy music for extended periods without needing to recharge. Even when active noise cancellation is engaged, the battery life remains relatively long, lasting 40+ hours.

The JLab JBuds Lux ANC offer a cost-effective way to create a peaceful and quiet listening experience. With their unbeatable price point of $69.99, these headphones provide users with 70 hours of battery life and effective noise cancellation. Don't miss out on this limited-time deal before the stock runs out.
