‘Have no interest’ – Jaylen Brown issues stern response to Brian Scalabrine amid Celtics criticism
Jaylen Brown has been on the receiving end of multiple digs from former Boston Celtics player-turned-commentator Brian Scalabrine. Scalabrine has used his platform as the Celtics’ lead colour commentator to take shots at Jaylen Brown to try and stand up for Jayson Tatum.
Jaylen Brown has been subjected to several disparaging remarks from former Boston Celtics player and commentator Brian Scalabrine. The comments were made to support Jayson Tatum, as tensions between Tatum and Brown escalated. Despite having a positive relationship with Scalabrine, Brown clarified during a post-game interview with reporters following a Philadelphia 76ers victory over the Indiana Pacers that he had no issues with the commentator.
Brown expressed his love for Scalabrine but vehemently denied the false allegations that he demanded a trade from the Celtics or made a list of ultimatums. Brown affirmed that he would not allow such untrue statements to follow him into his new team, the Philadelphia 76ers. His focus now is on excelling in his new environment and leaving past criticisms behind.
