EasySMX S10 Lite review: A Switch 2 fidget toy with a weird removable faceplate
EasySMX is using Elizabeth Holmes levels of pedantry with this faceplate situation.
The EasySMX S10 Lite is a small and affordable gamepad for the Switch 2, priced at just $40. It features a lightweight plastic construction with a soft, anti-slip texture on the grips. The controller includes two rear buttons that can be mapped, subtle magnetic faceplate attachment, and a variety of modern features including Hall effect analog sticks, strong haptics, and customizable Turbo functions.
The face buttons are tactile microswitches with a satisfying click, though they are somewhat rigid compared to some competitors. The controller also supports motion controls and can wake the Switch 2 from a distance. The box includes a quick-start card and a charging cable. While the controller's detachable faceplate allows for customization, it is not a feature actively supported by EasySMX, as they do not sell replacement covers.
