‘Pray for Tinubu’ - Sowore compares President's Saudi trip to Yar’Adua’s final overseas travels

President Bola Tinubu is set to travel to Saudi Arabia on Thursday to perform Umrah, a deeply spiritual pilgrimage to Makkah, the holy city of Islam. The news was announced by President Tinubu's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement released on Wednesday. The President's visit is said to provide him with a chance for spiritual introspection, devotion, and prayers for Nigeria's prosperity, unity, stability, and sustained growth.

While in Saudi Arabia, President Tinubu will partake in the customary religious rituals tied to Umrah, requesting Allah's guidance and blessings for Nigeria and its populace. Prior to his departure, Tinubu is slated to officially open some newly acquired equipment for the Nigerian Air Force's operations at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

The President is anticipated to return to Nigeria the following week following the completion of his spiritual pilgrimage.
