Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has expressed concern over President Bola Tinubu's reported plan to visit Saudi Arabia. In a post on X on Wednesday, Sowore questioned the timing of the trip and expressed worry about the President's health. The African Action Congress chieftain tweeted, "Nigeria is in serious trouble!
After the Kaduna rally, there are now indications that Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialabat is being prepared for another foreign trip tomorrow, October 29, 2026, amid growing questions about his health." Sowore alleged that five governors, some ministers, and prominent businessmen would be joining Tinubu on the trip, suggesting the visit could be portrayed as a legitimate business visit.
He compared the situation to that of the late President Umaru Musa Yar Adua, ending his post with the question, "Like Yar’Adua, like Tinubu?"
