Your latest Crimson Tide news and notes.
TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA - OCTOBER 24: Head coach Kalen DeBoer of the Alabama Crimson Tide addressed reporters during a bye week. The team is preparing to face LSU in a significant matchup. DeBoer expressed confidence in EJ Crowell, stating Crowell is "fun to be around" and "wants to compete his tail off." Despite injury setbacks, DeBoer believes Crowell has a bright future ahead.
The coach also discussed the potential expansion of college football to 24 teams, suggesting it could create more opportunities for "big games outside of the conference." Alabama has already scheduled a home and home series with Ohio State for the next two seasons. DeBoer emphasized that Alabama is competitive and continues to develop its players effectively, with a strong performance after bye weeks.
The upcoming LSU game holds significant historical weight for both teams, as LSU coach Lane Kiffin has personal reasons to defeat Alabama.
