'How did Tinubu graduate before his school was established?' - Atiku camp blasts Shettima

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's camp has vehemently responded to Vice President Kashim Shettima's remarks regarding President Bola Tinubu's academic credentials. Atiku's senior media aide, Phrank Shuaibu, issued a statement on Monday, questioning how Tinubu managed to graduate before the institution he attended was even founded.

Shettima had previously criticized Atiku's proposal to restore the petrol subsidy, suggesting that Atiku's lack of understanding of basic health issues like Ebola and flu indicates his inability to manage Nigeria's modern economy effectively. The VP argued that Atiku's policies would only lead the nation back to poverty. In response, Atiku's team challenged Shettima to address the discrepancy in Tinubu's academic record instead of supporting his claim.

They asserted that Shettima's defense of Tinubu's certificate fails to address the pressing concerns of Nigerians. The Atiku camp urged Shettima to utilize the opportunity to discuss how the Federal Government intends to tackle the escalating cost of living rather than focusing on the validity of Atiku's education. They questioned the relevance of debating school records when families are struggling to afford basic necessities and workers cannot even afford the journey to work.

The Atiku team emphasized that Nigerians deserve an answer to the pertinent question: "How did Tinubu graduate before the school he attended was established?" This exchange has ignited a heated debate on social media, with Nigerians weighing in on the question.
