Ticket sales for the Atlanta Dream's WNBA Finals Game 6 at State Farm Arena have reached a staggering 10,000 in the first 90 minutes, according to team representatives. The Dream will host the Golden State Valkyries in a crucial Game 5 on Monday, with the winner securing a chance to clinch the title. Ticket sales opened on Monday at 4 p.m. ET, three days prior to the game.
State Farm Arena, home to the Dream, has a capacity of approximately 17,000. The WNBA's decision to move the game from its original 8 p.m. ET start to a 12:30 p.m. ET kickoff resolves a scheduling conflict with the Atlanta Hawks, who will play the Cleveland Cavaliers at the same venue later on the same day. The Dream, who have sold out both of their previous Finals games at State Farm Arena and five of their six regular-season appearances there, aim to secure their first championship since 2013.
The team will play the full capacity game, despite the three-day turnaround before the series returns to Atlanta on Thursday.
