Sanusi: GE16 will be Pakatan’s last term in Putrajaya and Perikatan’s final term as Opposition

Kota Bharu, October 25 - According to Perikatan Nasional election director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, the 16th general election, slated for December 2027, will mark the final term in power for Pakatan Harapan in Putrajaya and the last term for PN as the Opposition, according to reports. During a gathering in Kuala Lumpur, Sanusi declared that PN must utilize the remaining time to bolster its election infrastructure, adding that after this period, PN will assume the federal government.

He stated that a PN-led administration would prioritize national development in alignment with Islamic principles. Sanusi further announced that PN's stance on participating in the upcoming Sarawak state election would be determined following the Melaka polls on November 14, although the exact date remains undecided. Furthermore, discussions were held regarding harmonizing elections across the four PN-ruled states with GE16, yet no final resolution had been reached.

Sanusi called on party members and supporters to intensify their efforts and appealed to Malaysians who prioritize peace and justice to consider granting PN the opportunity to govern the country.
