Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, has criticized the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) over its National Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections. In a post on X, Bwala expressed his disappointment with the list, which he claimed is dominated by content creators. This criticism comes shortly after the NDC unveiled the council.
Bwala also accused the party of not disclosing the names of its media surrogates in mainstream broadcasting, describing them as OAPs. The NDC's announcement has come as political parties gear up to organize their campaign structures and mobilization strategies ahead of the 2027 general elections. The NDC's council will be chaired by the party's National Leader, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, with Peter Obi serving as co-chairman.
