Serie A: Como beat Sassuolo 2-0, climb to fourth after Man Utd thrashing

Como's victory over Sassuolo in Serie A showcased a brilliant performance reminiscent of their Champions League triumph over Manchester United. Anastasios Douvikas scored twice, bringing his total to five goals in his last four games and eight in all competitions this season. Cesc Fabregas's side climbed to fourth place in the league table, just two points behind early leaders Inter Milan, who will face Fiorentina on Sunday.

Como faced a determined Sassuolo team for long periods, but ultimately secured a comfortable win with Douvikas's two goals in the space of just eleven minutes in the second half. The Greek striker's form has been impressive, contributing eight goals in total across all competitions this season.
