Multan Police Register Case Against Three Armed Men Over Alleged Rape

Police in Multan have registered a case against three unidentified armed men following an alleged rape incident. The assault took place while the victim was traveling with her husband and two young children. The woman's husband filed the complaint after the attack, which reportedly occurred late the previous night. According to his account, the family was attending a cousin's son's birthday celebration when they were stopped by the suspects near Wan Chhatta around 11 PM.

The men, riding a motorcycle without a number plate, allegedly threatened the victim and her children with a weapon. One suspect reportedly took the woman away from the road into a wooded area and raped her, while another held the children at gunpoint. The husband alerted nearby people, who called for help, causing the suspects to flee.

Multan City Police Officer Akhtar Farooq confirmed the incident, stating that the woman had undergone a medical examination, and samples were sent to a laboratory in Lahore for forensic analysis.
