California Golden Bears will face No. 23 SMU Mustangs in an ACC showdown on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 12 PM ET. The game will be played in Dallas, following the Bears' surprising 38-35 victory over California in November 2025. SMU, currently 5-1, is back in the mix for double-digit wins and a spot in the CFP after a lone loss to Louisville last month.
However, the Golden Bears are struggling, having lost three of their last four games, including a 41-7 defeat to Wake Forest. The team's ACC record currently stands at 2-2, with uncertainty surrounding their starting quarterback. SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings has shown improvement, but inconsistency remains an issue. California's Kingston Lopa has tied for the most interceptions in the country with five picks this year.
The live stream of the game will be available on CW with Fubo, allowing viewers to watch live television without cable on their preferred devices.
