2027: Ex-minister hails turnout at Kaduna rally

Former Defence Minister and Jigawa State governor, Badaru Abubakar, has expressed delight over the massive turnout at President Bola Tinubu’s presidential campaign flag-off event in Kaduna. This event, which marked the beginning of Tinubu’s re-election bid, saw a level of mobilisation that exceeded initial targets. As the Director-General of Arewa for Asiwaju, Badaru emphasized that the turnout was a testament to the dedication of the movement’s members and supporters across Northern Nigeria.

He praised the hard work of the movement’s coordinators and mobilisation teams, both at grassroots and higher levels, and thanked supporters who travelled great distances to participate in the rally. Badaru affirmed that the movement’s structures in the North could effectively work together towards a shared goal, and promised to continue building on this momentum.
