2027: Ex-minister hails turnout at Kaduna rally

Former Defence Minister and ex-governor of Jigawa State, Badaru Abubakar, praised the impressive turnout at President Bola Tinubu’s presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. He stated that the mobilisation by Arewa for Asiwaju surpassed the set target, indicating a strong commitment from the movement’s members and supporters across Northern Nigeria.

As the Director-General of Arewa for Asiwaju, Badaru expressed delight over the large number of attendees at Saturday’s rally, crediting the dedication and effective coordination of the movement’s coordinators and mobilisation teams. He thanked the supporters who traveled from distant locations to participate in the event, emphasizing that the turnout proved the movement’s ability to work cohesively towards a shared goal.

Badaru assured that the movement would continue its grassroots engagement, expand its presence in the region, and maintain its mobilisation efforts for Tinubu’s re-election bid beyond the Kaduna rally.
