UK’s Prince William reveals childhood ambition to become a DJ

The prize offers five goals, each with a £1 million award: protecting and restoring nature, cleaning the air, reviving oceans, building a waste-free world, and fixing climate issues. Each winner receives a significant prize. Prince William pledged his commitment to the prize until 2030.

The annual Earthshot Prize ceremony, where winners are announced, has attracted notable attendees in the past. Last year, it drew figures like Formula 1 driver Sebastian Vettel, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and pop stars Kylie Minogue and Shawn Mendes. In 2025, the winners will include Lagos Fashion Week for their efforts to make the fashion industry more sustainable.
