NCCIA Arrests CSS Officer Over Harassment of Female ASP

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has apprehended a CSS officer in Islamabad on charges of harassing and threatening a female Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), according to recent reports. The allegations were brought forth by the female ASP, who lodged a complaint under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and Section 109, alleging online harassment, threats, and character assassination.

The complaint detailed that two individuals had targeted the ASP on social media, sending threatening messages to her family members. One of the identified suspects in the case is named Wajahat. Both alleged perpetrators were reportedly stationed in Islamabad at the time the accusations were made. The NCCIA has taken custody of one of the suspects, and the investigation into these allegations is currently underway. As of now, additional information regarding the case remains undisclosed.
