Manchester United Captain Bruno Fernandes' ₹50 Crore Home Burgled By Masked Gang While He Was In Italy

Manchester United's captain, Bruno Fernandes, suffered a home burglary while he was in Italy for a Champions League match. The incident took place at his £4 million, six-bedroom home in Nether Alderley, Cheshire, around 8:30 pm on Wednesday. Three masked individuals broke into the property and made off with expensive items, including designer jewellery.

Fernandes' family was not present at the time. Neighbors noticed three unidentified men in the garden and promptly called the police. Despite arriving within ten minutes, law enforcement was unable to apprehend the suspects before they fled the scene. Cheshire Police have initiated an investigation into the break-in. Detective Inspector David Jarvis stated that the inquiry is still in its infancy and encouraged witnesses to come forward.

Fernandes was in Italy at the time of the incident, having played 67 minutes in Manchester United's 4-1 defeat to Como before being substituted by Joshua Zirkzee. The club is offering its support to the midfielder and his family during this challenging period. The burglary follows a series of similar incidents targeting footballers in the area, with Manchester City defender Ruben Dias also falling victim to a home raid in January.
