I didn’t endorse Adamawa LP gov candidate — Wike

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has categorically denied endorsing Labour Party governorship candidate Ishaku Abbo in Adamawa State, calling the claim of his support as false. In a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike affirmed that he has no affiliation with the Labour Party or any of its candidates in the state.

The allegation stemmed from a social media post purportedly made by Wike, which urged Adamawa residents to make informed decisions and mentioned Abbo as the most suitable candidate to lead the state. However, Wike vehemently denied these claims, stating that he has not endorsed Abbo or any Labour Party candidate in Adamawa. He emphasized that he would personally announce his political stance whenever he decides to support a candidate, urging Adamawa residents to disregard the misleading report.
