Govt Drafts Guidelines for Social Media Companies to Fight Disinformation During Elections
Regarding disinformation and misinformation spread on social media during elections, the Internal Affairs and Communications Ministry has compiled draft guidelines to outline the countermeasures it will call on service providers to take in a bid to mitigate their adverse effects. The ministry announced draft guidelines on Friday.
