Real Madrid is set to announce the renewal of Arda Guler's contract, according to sports reporter Fabrizio Romano. The Turkish midfielder, who joined the club as a youth talent, has been a vital player for Real Madrid under the guidance of José Mourinho. Guler's current contract expires at the end of 2029, but the updated agreement will extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2031, marking a two-year extension.
The new deal was finalized back in September, and Real Madrid is expected to make the official announcement soon. Guler's performance under Mourinho has been exceptional, with the forward contributing to the team's success in several ways. In 11 matches this season, he has scored three goals and provided five assists, demonstrating his ability to thrive in the final third.
As Guler's future at Real Madrid becomes more secure, he now has the opportunity to further improve his game and potentially emerge as a superstar for the club.
