Police investigate burglary at Man Utd captain Fernandes’ house
No family members were reportedly at the property during the break-in, and the intruders spent less than five minutes inside before police arrived.
Police are investigating a break-in at the Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes' home, according to a report by The Athletic. The incident occurred shortly after Manchester United's 4-1 Champions League defeat by Como in Italy on Wednesday night. Cheshire Police responded to reports of suspicious activity in the rear garden of a neighboring property.
Upon arrival, officers found that three unknown men had entered the house, stealing various items. Detective Inspector Dave Jarvis told The Athletic that no family members of Fernandes were at the property during the break-in and that the intruders were gone within five minutes of police's arrival. The investigation into the incident has been launched, and inquiries are ongoing.
Fernandes, who has featured in every game for United this season, captained the team in their latest match, which extended their winless streak to seven matches across all competitions.
