Nubia Quietly Relaunches a Second A76 4G With Better Specs

ZTE has recently unveiled a new variant of the nubia A76 4G smartphone, despite already having released a different model with the same name. This fresh iteration is distinct from the earlier nubia A76, A75, and A77 4G smartphones. Design and Display The updated nubia A76 4G boasts a 6.75-inch display with a resolution of 720p+ and a 90Hz refresh rate, offering a larger and more responsive screen compared to the previous model's 6.5-inch 720p+ panel with a 60Hz refresh rate.

The display can reach a maximum brightness of 500 nits. ZTE markets the device as possessing a "flagship-inspired design," characterized by a full-width camera module on the back, which mirrors the design of the previously launched ZTE Blade A76 4G. The phone is available in Carbon Black, Polar Grey, and Sand Gold color options.

Internals and Software The nubia A76 4G is powered by an unspecified chipset featuring an octa-core processor operating at a maximum frequency of 1.8GHz. ZTE highlights support for 4.5G connectivity, although the exact network standard and expected data speeds have not been disclosed. The device does not include 5G capabilities.

Cameras The nubia A76 4G is equipped with a 50MP triple-camera system on the rear, although ZTE has not disclosed the specifications of the additional two camera lenses. Battery and Pricing The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 22.5W wired charging, which is faster than the older nubia A76, which featured a 5,000mAh battery but supported only 10W charging.

The new model has earned an A rating under the European Union's energy-efficiency testing system. ZTE has not yet disclosed the official retail price or availability of the new nubia A76 4G. However, the nearly identical Blade A76 4G typically retails for approximately $169. The brand-new nubia-branded model has not yet been spotted at major retailers or mobile carriers.
