NFL Thursday Night Football preview: Bears vs. Patriots features two hot teams with exciting young QBs

The 2024 NFL Draft marked a historic moment as it was the first time six quarterbacks were selected in the top 12 picks. As these promising players enter their third season, Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears and Drake Maye of the New England Patriots appear to be standing out from the pack. Unfortunately, Maye's season has been plagued by early struggles, which he seems to have overcome in recent games.

Both teams, currently sporting a 4-2 record, have taken different paths to reach these numbers. The Patriots started poorly and recently heated up, while the Bears made an aggressive start with a 59-point performance against the Carolina Panthers, though they faced setbacks in subsequent games. However, Williams' return from injury and Maye's resurgence have set the stage for an exciting showdown.

Both quarterbacks, aged 24, seem poised to become stars for years to come. With both teams capable of deep playoff runs, the stakes are high, making Thursday night's matchup between these two young talents a crucial game.
