Jayson Tatum explains how his legacy is tied to Jaylen Brown

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum provided a lengthy explanation on his relationship with traded teammate Jaylen Brown, during the third video in his "Summer of Jayson" series. Tatum recalled the moment he was informed of Brown's trade to Philadelphia 76ers, saying he was "just as caught off guard as the rest of the world." The two stars, who have been on-court partners for nine years, proved skeptics wrong by winning the NBA championship together in 2024.

Tatum emphasized that "you won't ever be able to talk about one of us without the other," and credited Brown for helping him become a better player. The Celtics are currently 0-1 following a season-opening loss to Detroit Pistons, while the 76ers have won their first game against the New York Knicks.
