Honor Win2 Launches With Dual Cooling Fans and a Massive 10,100mAh Battery

Honor has introduced the Win2, the next generation of its Honor Win series, in China. The new smartphone joins the Win RT2, Win Turbo2, and the company's inaugural Win-branded tablet. The design and display of the Win2 boast a 6.89-inch OLED screen with a 1440 x 3104 pixel resolution, a 185Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits.

A customizable Win key and a light ring around the rear camera that reacts during gaming add to its features. The device incorporates an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers. Measuring 8.5mm in thickness and weighing around 237 grams, the Win2 boasts IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Color options include black, white, and red/blue.

Internally, the Win2 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, equipped with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Cooling is achieved through two built-in fans: an upright cross-flow fan spinning at a maximum of 20,000rpm and a second side-mounted fan reaching up to 31,000rpm. The dual-fan system delivers 284% more airflow than its predecessor, the Honor Win.

The phone operates on MagicOS 11, based on Android 17. The Honor Win2's camera system features a 200MP main camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor and optical image stabilization, complemented by a 12MP ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, a 50MP front-facing camera is provided. The device features a 10,100mAh battery and supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.

Pricing in China ranges from $822 for the 12GB + 256GB model to $1,196 for the 16GB + 1TB configuration. The availability of the Honor Win2 outside China remains uncertain.
