Ebola: FG seeking preventive measures — Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu emphasized the Federal Government's efforts to prevent the spread of diseases like Ebola during a recent ceremony at the State House, Abuja. This came after confirming the country's first Ebola case in Abuja. Tinubu called for preventive action to eliminate such infections, highlighting the challenges faced by Africa compared to other regions.

He urged medical professionals to find solutions to the brain drain of skilled health workers, which he said puts significant pressure on healthcare systems, limits access to essential services, and increases the workload of remaining personnel. Tinubu also commended the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Pate, for his efforts in reforming the health sector to make care more accessible, affordable, and efficient.
