Touch ‘n Go Launches Pokémon 30th Anniversary NFC Cards In Blind Packs

On October 21st, Touch 'n Go (TNG), the popular e-wallet company, unveiled a special collection of Pokémon cards in collaboration with the franchise to celebrate its 30th anniversary. TNG partnered with Pokemon to release eight unique designs, each available in a blind pack format. These packs contain a randomly selected card, making it a challenge for collectors to obtain all eight designs.

Each blind pack is priced at RM29, or customers can opt for a collection box containing all eight packs for RM232. The limited-edition cards can be utilized just like regular Touch 'n Go cards, enabling payments for tolls, parking, and public transport. They also leverage NFC technology and can be connected to the TNG eWallet app for balance inquiries and recharges.

Commuters can select various Rapid passes, including My50, Rapid Kota, Rapid Kembara, and Rapid Bulanan, through the app. The TNG x Pokémon 30th Anniversary Cards will be on sale starting October 21st across multiple platforms, including the Touch 'n Go Shop, TNG eWallet eShop, and selected stores on Lazada, Shopee, 7-Eleven, Jaya Grocer, Happy Mart, and Ohmee Mart.
