Tiger Shroff shooter joined ‘Lawrence Bishnoi gang’ a year ago. Then came the job to attack an actor

1. Tiger Shroff narrowly avoided an alleged assassination attempt in Mumbai on Sunday, October 18. The actor was leaving a football field in the Juhu neighbourhood when three men on motorcycles opened fire at his BMW. Shroff survived with injuries caused by gunpowder and shattered glass, while his driver and an autorickshaw driver were also hit by bullets.

2. The incident has been linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, a notorious criminal organization with a history of violent criminal activities and a long-standing feud with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. An audio message reportedly claiming responsibility for the attack surfaced online, accusing Shroff of ignoring warnings and continuing his association with Khan.

4. The Bishnoi gang's grudge against Salman Khan dates back to the aforementioned blackbuck poaching case, which the actor was convicted of in 2018. Despite his acquittal, Bishnoi has continued to hold a personal vendetta against the Bollywood star, threatening him and his associates.

5. In 2024, another attack occurred outside Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai, this time targeting his home in Bandra. Two men on a motorcycle opened fire on the property, intensifying concerns about the actor's safety and the potential involvement of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

6. Baba Siddique was a prominent politician in Maharashtra and a former state minister. He maintained close ties to Bollywood and was known for his influential position in the city.
