The Islamabad district administration has announced a more stringent crackdown on sheesha cafes following a written ruling from the Islamabad High Court. Deputy Commissioner has instructed assistant commissioners to intensify enforcement and ensure adherence to the court's orders. Several sheesha cafes have already been sealed and their equipment confiscated as part of ongoing operations.
The intensified crackdown will extend to areas such as E-11 and Bahria Civic Center, with officials mandated to act against violators equally. Criminal cases are to be registered against owners who resist cooperation.
