Inde Navarrette has clarified she never received an offer for a role in Michael Mann's Heat 2. She debunked the rumor during a recent appearance on The Kyle Buchanan Show, stating "no" when asked if she was offered the part. Navarrette revealed she auditioned for the role back in April, but only did so for two months as the casting process lingered.
After Obsession's box office success, she gained more industry attention, which led to her X-Men role and subsequent accolades. Despite reports suggesting she was on the shortlist for Heat 2, Navarrette didn't specify which character she aimed to portray, emphasizing her dedication to X-Men and her willingness to learn from a talented cast despite potential rejections.
