Claude Duet is Anthropic’s proactive AI agent answer to Muse and OpenAI’s Dots [Video]

Anthropic has introduced Claude Duet, an AI agent designed to compete with Muse and OpenAI's Dots. This new tool is not yet widely accessible but will be available to users on Pro and Max plans in a research preview, starting with a waitlist. Claude Duet aims to assist professionals and small business owners who have too much to handle.

The AI agent provides users with a concise summary of important items from their connected apps each morning, monitors these apps throughout the day and notifies the user only when necessary attention is required. Users can also delegate tasks ranging from simple administrative duties such as scheduling meetings to more complex tasks like building dashboards with multiple tools, creating financial or sales forecasts, prototyping, and building web apps.

This follows shortly after OpenAI launched its own proactive AI agent, Dots, and after Meta's Muse saw a surge in popularity.
