2027: Ex-presidential candidate, LP campaign coordinators endorse Tinubu

Former KOWA Party presidential candidate Adesina Fagbenro-Byron and ex-Obi-Datti campaign coordinators endorsed President Bola Tinubu for another term in a press conference in Abuja. The group, now known as Batified Obidients for Tinubu-Shettima 2027, declared their loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after reviewing their experiences in the 2023 election campaign.

Former Labour Party representative Banwo Mayowa also joined the endorsement. However, both the Labour Party and the Obidients Movement questioned the validity of the politicians' membership claims and their previously stated campaign positions. Fagbenro-Byron explained that the decision was based on their assessment of the current administration's promises and challenges.

He highlighted Tinubu's tenacity, patience, courage, and organizational skills as reasons for their support. The ex-campaign coordinators also acknowledged the economic hardships and security issues in Nigeria, but believed that Tinubu's reform agenda presented a viable path forward.
