What South Carolina's Shane Beamer said about Tennessee's quarterback situation
Shane Beamer doesn't know which Tennessee QB South Carolina will face on Oct. 24 but said both are playing 'winning football' right now.
South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer acknowledged he is uncertain about which quarterback his team will face in their upcoming game against No. 11 Tennessee on October 24. Both quarterback options, George MacIntyre and Faizon Brandon, are highly regarded by Beamer. MacIntyre, a sophomore, led Tennessee to a 26-10 victory over No. 13 Alabama last week, while freshman Brandon started five games prior to suffering a shoulder injury and was not available for that game.
Brandon and MacIntyre have both earned praise from their respective coaches for their performance and potential to excel in the upcoming matchup. Despite facing a challenging opponent, Beamer emphasized that South Carolina will prepare for the task ahead and remain focused on executing a successful game plan.
