The Petoskey News-Review introduces its Athlete of the Week program for the fall sports season. Voting results for this week's poll are gathered from Monday, October 12th through Saturday, October 17th from Emmet and Charlevoix Counties. East Jordan football player William Webb was the Athlete of the Week last week, receiving the honor due to his impressive seven-touchdown performance.
Voting for this week's Athlete of the Week is open from Tuesday, October 20th to 4 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd. The next Athlete of the Week will be announced next week. At the conclusion of the fall season, all Athlete of the Week winners will be showcased in an online gallery. Coaches, Athletic Directors, parents, concession workers, and others are encouraged to forward relevant statistics or noteworthy performances to Drew Kochanny at dkochanny@petoskeynews.com before Monday morning to ensure inclusion in the Athlete of the Week feature.
