PSG v Barcelona predicted XIs: Nuno Mendes out, Gerard Martin a doubt

Paris Saint-Germain will face Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, with both teams dealing with notable player absences. PSG will be without Nuno Mendes, who withdrew late from their previous match against RC Strasbourg Alsace on Saturday. Midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery may step in for PSG. Barcelona, on the other hand, face a more significant absence, missing key players Andreas Christensen, Jules Koundé, and Eric Garcia.

Gerard Martin, a doubt due to an ankle injury, could join Pau Cubarsi in Barcelona's defense. The likely starting lineup for PSG includes Matvey Safonov, Warren Zaire-Emery, Willian Pacho, Marquinhos, and Achraf Hakimi in defense, with Joao Neves, Vitinha, and Fabián Ruiz in midfield, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé, and Désiré Doué in attack.

Barcelona's probable lineup features Joan Garcia, Joao Cancelo, Gerard Martin, Pau Cubarsi, and Xavi Espart at the back, with Rodri, Fermin Lopez, and Pedri in midfield, and Anthony Gordon, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal up front.
