'Escape' safe code location in Modern Warfare 4

The Escape safe code in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has baffled players for two reasons. The code for the safe is 8410. During the mission, you play as Captain Price, attempting to escape a North Korean prison. Upon entering the mission, you'll find a note titled "confiscation protocol reminder" on the desk that reveals the safe code is located in the security office. As you progress, you'll come across a wider room with a soldier behind a counter.

Listen for the soldier's response to your escape; once he leaves through the double doors at the far end, head into the room he exited and read the note on the table labeled "updated code" to learn the safe code for Escape is 8410.

To locate the safe, continue with the mission after rescuing Ghost from his captors. You'll obtain a gun, and combat resumes. Engage and eliminate the North Korean soldiers until you reach the dormitory. Proceed through the door, locate the closed door on the right, enter it, and find the safe with a keypad adjacent to it. Input the code 8410 to secure the safe and retrieve Gaz's dogtags.
