Enel denies plans to reduce stake in Endesa

Italian energy firm Enel has firmly denied recent speculation about plans to reduce its ownership stake in Spanish utility Endesa. The denial came after a Spanish media outlet reported on the matter. An Enel spokesperson unequivocally rejected the idea of decreasing or entirely eliminating its stake in Endesa. The company pointed out that it has previously refuted similar rumors on numerous occasions.

The spokesperson emphasized that Enel's statements would put an end to such unfounded speculation, which has appeared in Spanish media lacking factual support. Enel reiterated that its recent plans and commitments to the market are focused on growth in Europe and the Americas, and there is no alternative course of action.
