2027: Yari directs APC campaign directorates to submit work plans

Abdullaziz Yari, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, instructed the council's directorates to draft and submit plans detailing how they will fulfill their duties leading up to the 2027 general elections. During a press conference following the first meeting of these directorates, Yari emphasized that President Bola Tinubu entrusted them with these responsibilities and expected them to meet expectations.

He stated, "We reminded them that we are all here on trust. Each and every person who sits under this roof is a trustee of the President." The meeting aimed to guide the directorates in developing their work plans and ensuring they fully understand their responsibility to the President. Yari also mentioned ongoing discussions with traditional rulers, as they seek their blessings and prayers.

The party plans to visit Kaduna on October 24, 2026, and continue their efforts until January 16, 2027, in order to secure President Tinubu's re-election.
