2027: Yari directs APC campaign directorates to submit work plans

The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Abdullaziz Yari, instructed the council's directorates to create and submit work plans detailing their roles prior to the 2027 general elections. Yari made this announcement during a press conference following the inaugural meeting of the directorates at the Presidential Campaign Office in Abuja.

He emphasized that the members of the directorates were entrusted with responsibilities by President Bola Tinubu and must fulfill their commitments, acknowledging that they were seen as trustees of the President. The meeting primarily focused on directing the directorates to develop work plans and determine strategies for effectively carrying out their responsibilities.

Yari also highlighted that they are still engaging with traditional rulers, visiting royal fathers to seek their blessings and prayers. The next stop for the APC PCC is expected to be Kaduna on October 24, 2026, with the campaign continuing until January 16, 2027.
