The world’s best wildlife photography competition is open for entries! This is YOUR chance to win a whopping £15,000!

The 63rd Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition is now accepting entries, offering a £15,000 prize for the overall grand title winner. Organized by the Natural History Museum in London, amateurs, enthusiasts, and professionals worldwide can submit their wildlife, nature, and environment photographs before Thursday, December 3, 2026.

The competition comprises 16 categories, including new categories like Positive Action, which highlights conservation success and optimistic reflection of change with the natural world. The combined Bigger Picture: Oceans and Wetlands category offers photographers a chance to showcase their underwater and wetland images.

Participants can enter up to 25 images across the 16 categories, with a unique opportunity for photographers from 114 countries to receive a fee waiver. The Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, for ages 17 and under, remains free to enter. The top 100 images, including category winners and the overall winners, will be showcased in a London exhibition next year. Judges for the competition include renowned photographers Karine Aigner, Claudio Contreras Koob, Charlie Hamilton James, Sandesh Kadur, and Tony Wu.
