Netanyahu basks in Trump’s endorsement week before election
The Israeli prime minister published a video of the two leaders praising each other after Donald Trump endorsed him ahead of the Oct 27 vote.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed excitement over Donald Trump's endorsement of him just days before the critical elections on October 27. The two leaders celebrated their close partnership, as both have been unpopular in public opinion across democratic nations. In a recorded conversation, Trump confidently predicted Netanyahu's victory, emphasizing their strong bond and joint pursuit of finishing Iran-related challenges.
Netanyahu highlighted Iran as the greatest threat, despite recent tensions in the wake of Trump's April ceasefire with Iran. While Trump's endorsement may not significantly sway Israeli voters, who are divided in their opinions of Netanyahu, it signals a renewed alignment between the two leaders.
