The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has revised the inauguration date of its National Campaign Council (NCC), moving it from October 20 to October 26, 2026. This change was announced due to the overseas engagement of the party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi. The decision, detailed in a statement issued by the party's National Publicity Secretary, was made to accommodate Obi's tight schedule.
The NDC expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by the rescheduling and urged members and supporters to focus on the preparations for the upcoming presidential and general elections. The party remains committed to Obi's victory and the success of all its candidates, emphasizing the importance of unity and continued mobilization in their political campaign.
