Lucknow to Bengaluru on foot: Hardik Pandya’s fan walks nearly 2,400km to meet his idol

In an extraordinary display of determination, a young fan from Lucknow named Ravi Kumar Rawat embarked on a remarkable journey to meet his cricket idol, Hardik Pandya. Rawat's sole objective was to meet Pandya, and he was willing to walk nearly 2,400 kilometers to make that happen.

Initially, Rawat walked around 1,400 kilometers from Lucknow to Mumbai, chasing his dream. However, just when he believed he was nearing his goal, he received unexpected news: Hardik Pandya had relocated to Bengaluru. Undeterred, Rawat continued his journey, covering an additional 990 kilometers towards Bengaluru. In total, his journey amounted to nearly 2,390 kilometers in pursuit of a single meeting with his hero.

Rawat's story has resonated deeply with audiences, as videos of Pandya's interaction with him have gone viral on social media. What truly set this encounter apart was the heartwarming response from Hardik Pandya himself. Instead of merely offering a photograph and moving on, Pandya ensured Rawat was taken care of. Pandya's manager arranged a return ticket for the young fan and even checked if he needed anything else, as Pandya was heard saying in a video, "Kuch chahiye toh bata dena" (Let me know if you need anything).

Rawat's journey is not the first of its kind. Earlier this year, another young cricket enthusiast cycled for 1,800 kilometers from Odisha to Bengaluru, driven by the same fervent desire to meet his favorite cricketer.
