La Liga: Diomande must improve finishing — Mourinho

Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has instructed young winger Yan Diomande to enhance his finishing ability if he wishes to maximize his potential at the club. After Real Madrid's recent win against Sevilla, Mourinho expressed satisfaction with Diomande's overall contribution to the team, but highlighted a key area for improvement. The Portuguese coach stated, "I am very happy with Diomande. He has a lot to work on, and he has many things he needs to improve. He needs to work on his finishing."

Mourinho emphasized that Diomande frequently finds himself in dangerous positions, but needs to learn to relax more and make better decisions in his last touch. Despite the promising movement and ability to arrive in threatening areas shown by the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international, who joined Real Madrid from RB Leipzig in a high-profile summer transfer, Mourinho insists that greater composure and better decision-making in the final third are crucial for the attacker to progress.
